Liquid Gold Star Awards
The International Breast Milk Project issues Liquid Gold Star Awards to individuals, organizations and companies who support our mission of improving the health care of infants in impoverished areas. These extraordinary individuals, organizations and companies go the extra mile to make a difference for moms and babies worldwide by opening our eyes to a new ways of thinking. They do this through their leadership, research, writing, or community projects. They inspire us to continue to work hard day in and day out to make a difference. This award is our way of saying thank you.

2006 Breastfeeding Action Hero Award: Dr. Miriam Labbok, MD
Dr. Miriam Labbok, Director of the Center for Infant and Young Child Feeding and Care at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill an IBMP Action Hero Award winner for 2006 for her efforts working with
breastfeeding moms and milk banking in South America.
Liquid Gold Star Award for Educational DVD series: Wheels on the Bus
Wheels on the Bus will donate a percentage of sales to support the International Breast Milk Project.
